What is an NFT?
A Non-Fungible Token is proof of ownership of something in the digital world. It is a unique identifier (code) that proves, cannot be copied, authenticity of sale and ownership of anything, including art. The art world is now recognising NFT Art as a new world in which the sale, auction and investment of art is fast-moving and the future of a new avenue of art collecting. The ownership of an NFT cannot be destroyed, copied, but can be re-sold, auctioned and gain in value. The value today could rapidly exponentially increase in the future.
NFT Art - Old & New
NFT Art can be both digitally drawn and hand drawn works of art. Ownership of an original in the physical form does not necessarily mean ownership in the meta-verse or NFT Marketplace. Some artists will guarantee destruction of the alternate form depending on the sale contract (e.g. the sale of an NFT means evidential destruction of the physical original). Equally many NFT Artworks are now digitally drawn. This does not necessarily mean drawn by A.I, but by digital software drawing with a digital pen and pad.
